It is fall and that means more people are going to be getting colds and flu bugs and spreading their germs everywhere. In this blog post I am going to share ways to keep the immune system happy and strong naturally.
I have used these methods for the past couple of years and in the last two years I have caught a cold each winter, I was so upset when I caught them too. I was thinking "How can this be happening? I am treating my body so good. How did I catch a cold! Ugh!" However both colds lasted 3 days and then they were completely gone! No lingering coughs, sniffles or anything.
Let's briefly talk about what the immune system is. It is a network of cells that are our defense system and helps us fight against diseases. Which is really important. We really want our immune system to be as strong as possible so it can either help prevent us from getting sick, or if we do end up getting sick...
In this episode I talk about one of the most common misconceptions when it comes to anxiety and that is nutrition. Most people believe that anxiety is all in the head, so how in the heck can nutrition help with anxiety.
Anxiety is not all in the head. The gut and the brain communicate with each other. If the gut is not happy the brain is not happy as well. We also need our nervous system to be strong to manage anxiety, the biggest way to keep the nervous system strong is through nutrition.
I am so excited! I have my friend Keri joining me in this episode. We talk all about our fears while starting and running our businesses and how we manage those fears. We talk about talking in front of a group of people, being judged, comparisonitis, perfectionism, “who are we to do be doing what we are doing” and so much more.
