I apologize to whoever follows my blog, I got behind on posting my podcast on.  Here is episode 21 through 24. 


Episode 21: Self-Love


     In this episode I talk all about the importance of self- love, why I think it is such an awkward thing and why people think it is a bad thing. 


     I think society plays a huge role in it.  I love our society, but there are some things that our society does that I don’t agree with and what it teaches us about self-love is one of them.

Episode 22: Are you Numbing Yourself?



     It seems like in this world if we are feeling any kind of discomfort our first reaction is to numb it.  This goes for both emotional and physical discomfort.  However most of our discomforts are symptoms and our symptoms are our bodies way of communicating with us.  So when we numb our symptoms, we are numbing the messengers.  This can cause bigger problems in the future!









Episode 23: You Are Not Alone



     With anxiety being a part of mental illness I felt like it was important to talk about what happened last week with Kate Spade and Anthony Bourdain. 


     I do talk some about suicide, so if this is a trigger for you, please don’t listen to this episode.


     I do think as uncomfortable as it is, suicide and mental illness are topics that should be talk about a lot more. 

Mental illness can feel like such a lonely disorder and I think it is really important for people to know that they are not alone.  There are so many people out there that can relate.  I talk a lot about this in this episode!    


     I did mention the suicide hotline in this episode and the phone number is, 1-800-273-8255.

Episode 24: Ten Nutrition Misconceptions


     In this episode I talk about nutrition misconceptions.  I believe there are so many!  Nutrition is my jam and I can talk about nutrition for hours!  Don’t worry I didn’t.   I hope this episode helps you out if you have been struggling with eating healthy.
